I have been attending the tastings regularly for the past four years and have a love for the staff and their fabulous assortment. It makes for a great social meeting spot with friends and coworkers on Friday evenings. They have an amazing talent for parings, too! Lauren V.
The selection of wine is thoughtful, complete, and extraordinary. The staff is amazing and fun to talk to. Tastings are varied and the enomatic tasting changes constantly. I love it. Kat
Friendly service, great selection, convenient location, tastings are a plus. Also it's nice that there are some high end microbrews carried in their store. Peggy
I learn more from Steve, Ty and Trish every time I walk into the store.
I have never been disappointed by their recommendations. They support
our Historic Gig Harbor community, by their involvement, enthusiasm,
and a great store. Jack S.
We went in to buy a bottle of wine for our 2nd anniversary and not only did they have an amazing selection, but they were extremely helpful. We were asked what price range we wanted to keep it in and they were able to assist us in what we were looking for. Not only did they help us find the perfect wine for us, but they also didn't take advantage of the price range we threw out. They could've taken us to the most expensive bottle of wine in the store, but they were more concerned that we were matched up with what we were looking for. All the way around it was a GREAT experience! Miranda H.
I've been going to the Friday tastings (free!) for about 3 or so years.
They have added Thursdays and occasional Saturdays to their tasting
schedules which will include beer tasting, such a treat! Steve has been
extremely helpful in recommending wine for the beginning palate. Now
with the addition of Trish and Ty with his background in
winemaking/selling, the shop has a great versatility of knowledge and
understanding of wine to share with their customers. I always look to
them to help educate me in knowledge and experience of wine outside
that of the grocery stores. Looking forward to their expansions in the
near future! Brenda D.
Their selection is outstanding and the staff are extremely helpful. They are great at suggesting wines that may not have received the most marketing but are great values. They also have worked to know their customers tastes so that they can recommend wines that each person may prefer. Robert R.
So many wines to pick from, so many wines to taste...they always have a tasting going on and very knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful store, always friendly people, where neighbors meet. Marcia K.
The staff at Water to Wine know their wines and know their customers. They are laid back and provide many opportunities to expand my familiarity with wines of different varieties and from different parts of the world. Betsy G.

I have been shopping at Water to Wine for about a year, and always leave happy. It doesn't matter how much money I'm looking to spend I am always treated well, and learn a few things along the way. Last time I was in I wanted 6 different bottles of white wine all under $10, it took them about 5 minutes to fill the order (and load it up in a free handy recyclable tote too!) I have opened 3 of the bottles and have yet to be disappointed. They have wines at every price point and representing all regions. I've noticed that at most grocery stores when trying to find a bargain wine you're stuck with the same brands every time. However at Water to Wine they carry value wines from Portugal, Argentina, Chile....everywhere! However if you're looking for that "special" bottle, they have an amazing selection of wines that you can't find at your local grocery store.
Recently, Water to Wine has put in a state-of-the-art Enomatic system and they are more than willing let you try any wine they have open for FREE! Try before you buy, I love it! Aside from Costco nobody gives out anything for free anymore, especially wine. They also offer complimentary tastings on Fridays and Saturdays from different wineries or regions, often times the winemakers or representatives from the winery are there as well. Water to Wine offers incredible selection, impeccable customer service, and supports local small business. MorganLindsey S.
I haven't been any place that is using those Enomatic systems before! I got to try the wine before I bought them. Yeah, I bought three of the wines I tasted. I'll come back and try it again with my friends. What a great way to learn about wines I wouldn't otherwise buy. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the store, no pressure, no snooty wine guys, just friendly service. Two thumbs up! Big F.
from Insiderpages.com Water to Wine is my happy place! One of my favorite ways to end the week is to swing by a Water to Wine tasting. I always learn something new, the adorable staff gets me ready for the weekend and I get to taste some of their delicious wine. It can be overwhelming sometimes, when I'm trying to pick out a wine, but they've always come up with something I've enjoyed - and always within my price range. They couldn't be more helpful! Sally F.
Water to Wine has a beautiful location on the waterfront, a
knowledgeable and friendly sales staff and the best selection of wine
from around the world. I bring my family and friends that visit from
out of state to Water to Wine, they love it there. Ralph S.

The staff at Water to Wine really knows their stuff - which is important because this store carries a huuuuge selection. Normally, this'd be a little overwhelming - not to mention intimidating - but the great staff really knows how to make sure you get the wines you enjoy. And though the weekly tastings are great, what I really enjoy is dropping in on a weekday afternoon. They've got a wine preservation system that allows you to sample a whole bunch of wines - and the staff is happy to answer all questions and offer suggestions for serving. I have yet to leave with a bottle of wine that I didn't thoroughly enjoy! Pammy K.
